James Shorter 1850 is a direct descendant and would form an important part of my family tree He is a descendant to my Mother through a John Shorter born in Wheatley and moved to Wellingborough in around 1910 (lived in Newcommon Road Wellingborough in the 1911 Census . John then had 3 sons and one daughter Evelyn Rose Shorter born 1922 married a Francis Orton who died in 1969 she remarried and her name is now Evelyn Rose Sandall(still alive today at 94)
